We were initially contacted by a regular customer who had a problem with their mixer on site. Upon inspection it soon became clear that the shaft was extensively damaged and beyond repair.

We were initially contacted by a regular customer who had a problem with their mixer on site. Upon inspection it soon became clear that the shaft was extensively damaged and beyond repair. Measurements were taken and drawings created to work from and to keep for our future records. Our experienced machinist was given the task of creating the new shaft once complete a timeline was agreed with the customer and schedule of works drawn up to complete the install at a convenient time for them reducing plant downtime.

The complete mixer had to be dismantled to give access to the damaged parts and then reassembled. the job was completed by our team over the coarse of the weekend ensuring the customer was up and running for Monday morning.
